often hard to define. No ...they are never shoegaze but are things that have character and soul and are always organic. Think of the Rat or the Uni-Vibe that do not fit neatly into 

a common category. Like a vehicle that would be kind of a Ferrari but kind of a Ford Pickup truck but with 5 wheels.

This OD covers all 3 of the basics, Low, Medium and High Gain OD's. Each with Volume, Gain and a single multistage EQ moving from low frequencies to high sounding natural and wherever to stop give you poke at that frequency. Each drive has a long range so for example the mid gain can be pre or past crunch. Add to that you can have 2 or 3 on  

simultaneously to create sounds never heard.
