MOOERSoul Shiver |There is nothing old school about this except what it covers. I would say it is
a Uni-Vibe. On the real Uni-Vibe all the controls were interactive. If you added added a bit from one function it robbed from another function. It was a game of Whack Amo to nail a sound. The sounds on the Mooer are fixed voices.
The original Uni-Vibe was meant to sound like a Leslie Cabinet that created
a doppler effect by using a motor to spin 2 horns in opposite directions.
The Organs used with it all had Vibrato which the Mooer includes as does the Uni-Vibe. The Uni-Vibe failed but by accident invented its own cool sound. Mooer has actually come very close to the Leslie at a ...fraction of the cost
and the small size lets many find a spot for it on their board.
CONCLUSION ___
The only reason I reviewed this as it is the only affordable Leslie/Rotary pedal you can buy. That said all the effectsare very good. You get a very full sound, and it is just a
bit different. It is understated so it is not in your face.
Killer for clean sounds that can capture the vibe of an
acoustic guitar. Especially for accompanying vocals.Great pedal, I love it.
