FREDRIC EFFECTS FOXRITE
As long as I can remember Fredric Effects of North London UK have been around. Tim and Stacey have a passion like many of us for not just the old classic Fuzz pedals but the weird, the wonderful and even short lived pedals from the whole globe. Some come from old East European counties or places in Europe that may have only catered to their own region. So between pedal making they have always had their band The Sailplanes playing the london area.
The pedals get get gigged in the clubs before they are tweaked to be just right for a player to want to own.
The Foxrite is a take on Ed Sanner of Mosrite guitars Fuzzrite. There
were about 200 made and 3 different circuits over the 3 years they were made. This is the silicon and final version. The other 2 were were notorious for being heat sensitive and tanking at the gig, lol.The Foxrite is kept to the original with more level as the original had a weak output. A switch lets you switch between the originals Filter sound to a
conventional tone control for more lows

CONCLUSION ___Yes it it has a bit of the trash, garageband vibe. However it has a unique OD type vibe with slightly metallic cleans running through it that have a nice bite and jet like quality. None of this may make sense until you hear it. The bottom line it is very impressive but most of all a useful noise not just a novelty but a dirt pedal calling out to be played.
