COGGINS AUDIO
Dinasaural Cogmeister
Brit, Dan Coggins was the co-owner in 1995 of Lovetone that brought a lot of unusual and strange pedals out. His Fuzz was unique and his Big Cheese has been cloned by JHS as the Cheeseball Fuzz. He also worked for others designing pedals. Lately he has worked a lot with Thorpy Pedals.Dan says little but to say this pedal is a triple boost overdrive.CONCLUSION ___
It does sound very organic, The first channel gives you a low gain kind of an always on slightly crunchy clean. The third channel is all about a lot
of poke and the middle channel is a more typical mid gain OD. On the whole it seems to aimed at an Americana, Blues sound. I have no criticisms it nails its genre with a rich warm full sound with a lot of definition. The price is an ouch but the guy lives in another world where he chases his personal dream tones with no serious thought to the market place. So well worth it if your personal music is focused on the subtle nuances this pedal has.
