SQUARE ONE Overdrive

This is a take on the defunct Boss OD-1. It arrived in 1977 and was perhaps the first serious take on an Amp-in-a-Box.
The layout is Level and Drive but unlike the Boss it has a treble cut. Inside you can trigger a dip switch to give you symmetrical clipping which give it a Tube Screamer vibe.

CONCLUSION ___

The pedal is very aggressive. Keep in mind it came out just after the Rat pedal so the Rat was the go-too for an in your face tone. I like it's nasty biting tone but the BOSS OD-3 is similar and is only $110.00 USD.
