NAGA VIPER|BOOST
Basically a tweaked Dallas Rangemaster Treble booster clone. Before the Tube Screamer if your needed some push and poke in your Marshall you would like Tony Iommi, Brian May and a thousand others get a Rangemaster. It came in a bulky little tin box that you sat right on top of your amp.The layout is Volume, Gain and Frequency. The original had the gain and frequency fixed to upper mids and highs. With this you can boost down into the lower mids too.CONCLUSION ___You can stack it on MIAB OD and you can get those classic soundsso it is not just for a Marshall or a Vox AC 30 amp. Nice pedal but it is a simple build so the price is obscene. Now the nice surprise is this guy Alex in Croatia makes the AlexC Pedals, Naga Viper. It's a part for part clone in the same Hammond B box as the Viper that does the same thing for $85.00 USD which includes shipping in the price. Check out his Reverb site.
__Yes, I did ..I ordered one 😐
Well it arrived. With 61 pedals on my board trying to cope with buffers in some of my preferred pedals was all but impossible. Add to that my switcher has buffers. BUT...going straight into my amp was absolutely killer. Even using pulled back on low gain OD's it added amazing sparkle.
...simple hand made thru hole construction
just like you would see inside a real Rangemaster
Alex has made many pedals. over 400
everyone gave him a 5 Star feedback
The original
