GUITAR - IBANEZ Ichi00 Talman ...classic Talman returns.

IBANEZ ichi00 Talman
A healthy new trend is happening. Improving is not fixing things that are not broken. For years players stayed with instrument designs that were invented in the 50's moved to todays designs that think a guitar has to have everything changed. In short instead of a better guitar we get guitars with their soul ripped right out of them. Easier to play but impossible to get any tone.

With the Ichi00 Talman Small mods to the body, better woods, hardware and locking tuners, hotter PU's move this firmly into the present. All else is left unmolested.

the fine print
What a truly novel idea. If it is not broken don't fix it. If it is fix it. it if it is debatable
like clever whammy bars and a unique pick up than keep the damn thing affordable.
so the  buyer has enough coin left to pick his own.

TRIVIA
Most of you know that Ibanez design guitars but do not manufacture them. They never have. When they started they were a world wide musical instruments and accessory distributors. They wanted to sell guitars so they made a deal with Guyatone to provide them. The first Ibanez guitar was a Guyatone LG 130T with Ibanez plastered on the headstock.
Ibanez brought it back as the JTK30 in 2009 but it tanked. Yes they are now collectors guitars but I bought a mint used one in 2006 for $225.00 USD. It has P90's in it. A massive sound that takes out the back wall of the club.

IBANEZ Jet King
JTK30

It is not hard to see that the Talman borrows from Guyatones styling.
Most models by Guyatone had a general slightly chunky look but were
a bit offset to create a more balanced look.
Both the Jet King and the Talman have that Guyatone thing going on..
