It came out in 2005 and was the go to analog octave pedal. It is analog and monophonic so it can not track cords and it needs care to track well. Which means care muting of unused strings that if they make a sound will present the pedal with a signal it thinks is a note but it isn't so you get a glitch.
On riffs it sounds killer. There is tiny lag on the upper octave that create a double tracking effect. In short it makes your riff sound like 2 guys
are playing. Dead cool.Definitely well made if not over made. There are 4 versions but the 3rd
is in a compact box. The 4 is really just a Deluxe 3 with more foot switches.
CONCLUSION
Sound is everything and nothing beats it. The best
compromise is the EH POG. What blows my mind
is that double tracking thing.
