Not a new company at all. A Korean company that has been around for
decades. They are best known for their PU's and have made custom PU's for small high end gourmet handmade European guitar makers for decades. They now make PU's for companies like Duncan. They even use American wire for their coils. If you had an Artec made Duncan and a U.S. any difference is non existent. They have also made small amps & pedals as long. This is their Black Air series. They have 6 other series of pedals.

The pedal is more of a very high gain hard clipper OD like a Rat but has a Big Muff OpAmp like Fuzz circuit as well. You get level and tone and gain for both Fuzz and OD that you can blend.

In short it is very coarse and dirty but can be tuned in to be much tighter than a straight Fuzz.

CONCLUSION

It works! You get a totally in your face OD. Great on it's own but you could use it to stack or kick in for a boost for a solo. You also get Korean made quality 

but a great price.

These are hard to fine State side but in Europe Artec 

are much better known. You can get them at ...Only Pedals 

which is good thing since they have good prices and equally

great service and fair prices.
