There are a few more women designing and building pedals now but Heather was one of the first. Women by tradition have been taught to be tantious, patient and disciplined. 

In a trade that require less tech but the right sense of ascetics of what sounds good choosing a brand 'a' over' brand 'b' for the transistors can make difference between 

'not bad' and 'holy sh@t' that's killer!!! A background with working for 

Mike Matthews at E-H and Robert Keeley doesn't hurt, lol.

The layout is level and a rotary gain switcher with toggles for boosts of mids, bass and gain. Internally their are 3 dip switches to change the character of 

of each gain stage. You can go from aggressive to smooth.

CONCLUSION

Meticulously handmade with ascetics not a price point to satisfy we get a medium to high gain OD type with hair. It is usable thru its entire range. You pay a little more but you get a lot more. I tend to stack my Fuzz pedals on an OD to tighten them 

for more control and sustain with this pedal 

it is all done for you. No struggle to get it just right.

the fine print

No 2 ways about it the tone is rich and sweet 

but if you want a wall of sound or some serious 

aggression you have that to.

The price is not such a factor when I realize it 

could replace 2 pedals. 

But than again it uses germanium transistors, ouch, lol
