They are not the first to lay on endless options but the maybe the first skip the Star Wars sound track gimmicks that after a day or two are even tiresome to f. around with and you can never actually fit into a tune.

You get 6 LFO's or in real world speak 6 ways to have the familiar sweep modulate with a different wiggle to the sound. You get two choices to have 2 different ones happen at the same time.

My favorite is you can also set it to sweep with how hard you nail the strings with your pick. It is like a auto-wah pedal but instead of a wah sound you get a Phaser sound. It can be set to up or down. The down may be worth the price of the pedal it is dead cool. 

CONCLUSION

Impressive? Maybe not for the features  but simply how well they are pulled off many usable tones. Yes ...a few sounds are easily debatable. The build is typical of the brand with a high standard of quality and reliability. It is more than I need. Great Phasers by MXR 

are less than half the price so it is not a 'must have' pedal for this guy :-)
