Yes it's the Tom Sholtz sound from the first two Boston albums from the
'80's. It was made by ol 'Tom in a project box and became the basis of the famous Rockman headphone practice amp. You get more control over the sound but since you asked, it does not have the chorus built in.
CONCLUSION
I had a gig at a music store when they came out and thought it was pretty good but even then I thought it should have been a pedal not a cheap plastic box. Now it is too little too late and the price is obscene.
