One thing for sure if you get a Browne made pedal you get killer quality in and out. With Browne it gets down to the sound. With a classic Muff the mids are scooped which actually sounds damn good when you are jamming alone at low volumes at home. Big BUT. If in a band the bass guitar and the kick drum just bury your guitar. You end up in a volume war to be heard. The output level on a Muff is definitely lacking. The T4 kicks up your mids right across the spectrum so you are not just heard but get a fat sound and gives you level to spare.
CONCLUSION
Well you pay a premium for all this but it is much the same for any gourmet Fuzz. This is where the Browne gets the edge. Browne are very quickly gaining a rep with guys without a budget as a must have with their Carbon and Protein pedals. In short you get great, sound, great build and I truly expect very soon great resale value. All this spells great value for money.
