This is an odd company. They sell upgraded parts for Gibson guitars but also buy used Gibson's mostly SG's and make them into faux custom shop models. The only pedal they offer is the ScreamTone.

According to the maker this pedal is designed to take a clean amp and without changing it's characteristics turn it into a high gain version of itself. They also state it

is not a Tube Screamer or a Booster.

I would simply call it a high gain transparent OD:-)

A simple high basic layout of Gain,Tone and Level.

An educated guess is a OpAmp style OD in the Boss

line of OD's In short it creates asymmetrical distortion not symmetrical distortion like a Tube Screamer.

In short it creates tube like distortion.

CONCLUSION

This pedal is very clean sounding and it will give you a generous amount of gain. It does sound much like a good clean booster. I hear very little OD but lots of saturation and compression. It sounds very much like a Tone Freak Effects Severe OD.
