Nothing new but the marketing. It is an OpAmp distortion pedal using diodes to create the clipping. It is how you can start with the topography of a Tube Screamer and turn it into a Metal pedal. If you give silly names to the Volume, Tone and Gain you can have just enough smoke and mirrors to convince those that do not visit Stomp Box Steals that you have a totally unique pedal. The builder boasts of using an obsolete JFET OpAmp. More hype. It is not a number of obsolete JEFET individual transistors hand picked to have matched values. It is like telling a glass bottle collector you have an obsolete plastic Pepsi bottle, lol.

CONCLUSION ___ 

It sounds very much like a low to medium gain Fuzz. I feel that the Bigfoot Engineering King Fuzz does a similar thing but it has a much, much fuller sound. Check out that review.
