To read the blah blah hype on the Talon site we are meant to believe this is the result of months of hard work to create the 'crystal clear and devastatingly heavy guitar tone.' More about that later :-)

The layout is labelled Load, Crank, Optimize and Clarity and a toggle named Deep. Which is pretentious and annoying baby talk for volume, gain, a blend between Crunch and distortion, and treble. The switch is for bass or bass cut.

CONCLUSION

It is a rather mediocre distortion pedal . The mids are nondescript. It has no low end and it has zero punch or balz. It is needlessly big. For less money you can get a Soldano SLO that is beyond obscenely better. Or for $40 the Caline High Peak that makes

this seem like a bad joke. This the first and only pedal by 

this company and it would be forgivable for it to a be bit 

'less than' But with all the bullsh@t hype and over the 

top graphics it just pushed my button!!!
