FUZZ- ANALOG FOX Green Muff....the made in Russia Sovtek Big Muff clone

ANALOG FOX GREEN MUFF

So there are a lot of Pedal makers who bang
together what sells as a classic Russian Big Muff clone.

There is also a good choice from others that make a Gourmet beep up.

THEY NAILED IT!!! ZERO DIFFERENCE

The Sovtek Big Muff alias Tall Font, Green, Sovtek or V7

It has been a nice little money maker for dozens of Pedal Companies.

This one is a 'made in Moscow Russia' pedal by Analog Fox.
They use all the available parts of the original.
They include the kt3102em transistors & the kd521k diodes. These are the 2 most critical parts.
They have also sourced a few of the original caps that are still available. !
The video comparison is impressive.
The price is more impressive $85.00 USD

The first Demo shows they have totally nailed the original !!!

Unfortunately all the demo's suffer from NOT setting up a sound with a balance between highs and lows.
Or maybe something with mostly highs and mids etc
.
Just some simple power chords would be nice. All we get is a lot of lame single note noodling with a lot of bass.

Since the first demo shows it is a convincing Sovtek copy

you might Google up the original since the 'Fox' should be capable of tones of the offerings on demos of the original Sovtek and by players that do pro video.

IT BLOWS AWAY ANYTHING IN IT'S PRICE RANGE !!!
SOLD!!!   I PUT MY ORDER IN TODAY!!!

It's a NO-BRAINER
It is not possible if you love a Fuzz pedal not to find
a Sovtek an exciting Fuzz!
I have never heard a demo with a clone played side by side that
even if the clone was excellent I could still hear a difference.
The difference in this case borders on non existent.
Even if I find later I am not a Sovtek fan either the real deal or otherwise.
At this price I could easily sell it and not loose a penny.

I got mine today. No disappointment. If anything I was pleased that it does it's thing as you would hope for but the damn thing also has some 'tone' It is a medium gain pedal so it has lots of even order harmonics...the full sweet ones.... There are just enough odd order to still tear your face off though..LOL

So I have had the pedal a few days. With the tone set at 10 o'clock
then it "Oh my god!" time. This is the sound everyone raves about. A hint of rough and ready highs and a massive low end that sounds like it has a sub octave built in it. But since it doesn't this is one bottom heavy crushing fuzz.
My advice...BUY ONE!!!

Let PETR MOGILEVSKY ...build you one!!!

ONE FINAL NOTE!!!

IF YOU HAVE A SMALL BOARD OR KEEP YOUR PEDALS DOWN TO A MINIMUM
THEN YOU NEED A FUZZ WITH A LOT OF VERSATILITY.
IF I WERE YOU I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PEDAL.

THE ANANASHEAD FX Sustainer Civil War v.2 modded Sovtek

...this is the pedal to get.

It will do all that this will do and yet give you many, many more usable voices.

The 'Fox' is a one trick pony!

I have over 50 pedals on my board. I need to get one and only one perfect sound from a pedal. When I need a sound to be different I want it to be significantly different. The 'Fox' is perfect for me .
I will set it up with a huge low end with just enough highs to cut through and define the sound.
Then 'boom' I am done.
If I need something more mid orientated or with fuller highs I will  use my Ananashead Super Fuzz.

FOR ME THE 'FOX' PEDAL IS PERFECT ....CHEAP....and capable of that monstrous wall of sound!!!
