The pedal covers all the controls of the original Boss with it's 4 band EQ gain and volume. A toggle lets you go between the original 'voicing' to the KMA everything on steroids sound. The key ingredient being a big push in the mids.

The original Wurm has sold sh@t loads for years and is still available unaltered in it's oversize box.

I expect this to do as well and even better as these days genres blur to the point of not finding even a subgenre name to give them. In short this could be perfect for the few parts in a few tunes that some players find them ideal.

CONCLUSION

For a German pedal from a brand with a rep of high quality the price is spot on. I had a mint original HM-2 and did not like it. I prefer a heavy Fuzz stacked on an OD for these kinds of sounds. Even so I find this a killer pedal for many.
