In my opinion the big deal about the Klon is its clean boost stage.

It comes on at about 7 o'clock on the gain stage and literally fades
out as a different mid gain stage fades in while the boost fades out around 9 o'clock. I love the boost stage of the Klon and I find the overdrive stage budget brand mediocre.This pedal throws that overdrive stage out and replaces it with
not just one sound but several you can get at inside the pedal.

CONCLUSION __
Love it. It has some very inspiring sounds. I expect it could
be an incredible boost to take the sound of for example a
great MIAB into several new categories. Think of a pedal
you own that is the perfect 'cake' but using this to add
different icing's.
