A 10 year old take on a MIAB. Being a collector of such pedals and 

having had a few classic Marshalls over the years I would say this 

is most sounds like a JTM 45. An amp based on a Fender Bassman 

and the Bassman heavily modded is a Dumble.

The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain. A toggle goes from low gain 

to medium gain. 

CONCLUSION __

Not bad for a 10 year old pedal. I quite like it in higher gain. 

In low gain is a bit whimpy. A very usable pedal. Most MIAB 

pedals are dark where this has that Clapton Bluesbreaker 

sound. The BB just for the record is a JTM 45 combo. 

The price is good and graphics give it a more upmarket look. 

Even if you own a modern MIAB it is likely a Plexi or a

JCM 800 so this could be welcome pedal on tunes 

that the others are a bit overkill.

The company started in 2004. In 2015 they sold the biz to Cusack. 

The company was started to make a quality product for the gigging 

player at an affordable price. Oddly enough the same can be said 

about Cusack. Both companies do clones but both add their take 

on their pedals. So it is not and never was intended to be a dead 

copy. This pedal came out 9 years ago so it does have its fans.

The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain. A toggle adds a bit of 

low boost. 

                    CONCLUSION ___ 

It sounds good. To my mind the low settings on the

gain do not have the Klon's chime but the upper

settings have much better and more transparent

sound then a real Klon.

From 1992 to 2007 Marshall made the JMP-1 Pre-Amp. 

This pedal is a take on it. The Layout is Volume, Tone 

and Mids with a toggle for Lead 1 and Lead 2. 

 

CONCLUSION __

The ONE is a killer pedal. Like all Columbo 

pedals nailing an original is a given.

A basic one voice modeler??? But one amp when others offer several??? WTF!!!

   CONCLUSION __ 

Every month a new modeler comes out

& many with a basic choice of several

different classic amps and a library of 

downloads of dozens of other amps etc.

There are several in this price range 

that do a lot more than a few IR's 

and one f.ing amp!!!

From North Macedonia comes the new boys with their handmade 

pedals. They do a bit if everything but starting with an OD is 

always popular. The world needs a better one, lol. The layout 

is Volume, Gain, Treble and Bass.  

       CONCLUSION __ 

It is a medium gain OD with a strong Amp vibe but not a 

clone of any kind/brand. It can squeak into some good 

high gain sounds. The lower gain is totally usable 

& with gain off you get a very nice sounding Boost.

For $220.00 USD one can buy the LPD Pedal.

It is a very accurate take on a '79 Marshall 

JMP 50 watt. It covers the same ground as 

the Jinx. Big but. The harmonic detail could 

not be better, nor could the feel and touch 

sensitivity. $220.00 USD.

A pre based loosely from the Ampeg VH140c amp.

The layout is Pre and Post Volumes, Tone, another  Parametric mids tone control with a 3 way cut or  

boost switch. It uses a 3 tubes a 5879, 7247 

and 7249. 

CONCLUSION__ 

It is a damn good pre but the This Heavy 

Earth Fleshrot is killer at $200.00 USD & 

it is a take on the same amp. In fact I will 

buy the Heavy Earth pedal as soon as I 

can save up funds.                      

OVERDRIVE- LPD PEDALS Bedlum___NEW___ Dumble means trouble

A take on Robben Fords Dumble. Yes there are a lot of Dumble pedals. But then there are a lot of Dumble amps, lol.  How authentic any are is a guess. The thing that LPD fans love is that all his OD's have very rich harmonics and unmatched touch sensitivity and feel. The layout is volume, Gain and Tone. Mass gives you a pre clipping bass control that fattens the sound without a trace of mud. PAB on the second footswitch 

is preamp boost great for riffs and solos.

   CONCLUSION ___ 

Lawrence is one man show making every part, 

testing every pedal and shipping every pedal. 

There will be a limited run so get in early or ... 

OVERDRIVE- DeJAYCE Ultra Gain ___NEW___ 80's Amp-in-a-Box, all of them

Did the designer listen to every 80's high gain amp on popular records and distilled them to just one perfect sound? It is fat by having just the right amount of tight lows with rich lower mids.

Then just  enough upper mids around 1K so the pedal cuts and sings. 

The layout is Volume, and Gain and Presence so the sound 

is not too dark depending on your rig.   

         CONCLUSION __

It really does the job. It has more of an 

American 6L6 tubes vibe than a Brit 

EL34 tube thing. It would be nice to 

have that too as a fixed voice. But 

WTF that is a minor complaint.

The amp that was the King of Death Metal, Hardcore and other 

related genres made into a pedal.

The layout is Highs, Mids, Lows, Level, Prescence and Gain. It 

has a Tight which is a high pass filter. Shift is for moving the 

frequency of the Mids scoop.  

           CONCLUSION __

I'm convinced. Just check out the 3rd video of the 

real amp.This one is on the top of my short list 

of gotta-haves. I love that it us beyond heavy 

but a real tube amp comes through. it does 

not sound Synth or Fuzz like but a real amp!!!
