This was passed over when it came out. The first of the good MIAB pedals had come out and everyone including me were captivated. I have not changed. I love a great MIAB and own and use several daily. This is more than a hard clipper it more of a gourmet American amp sound. In otherwards it has that 6L6 Fender on steroids sound that Mesa started with their Boogie amps.

The layout is very effective to get a lot of sounds. You have a lower gain and high gain channel that you can stack or blend and a bass boost as well.  

CONCLUSION __

It covers a lot of ground. It is really well made and with the  The sound is crisp and clean and easy to get tight or go for a bigger open sound without lack of clarity. The attack has a nice bite and any chord work will stay defined. With a definite U.S. sound it fits anywhere from Americana and Blues to even some 80's Metal sounds.
