The company reminds me of JHS about 8 years ago. it has several takes on some classic pedals and does mods.They have moved into the present. A bigy is to have MIDI installed. 😇

As for the Whaler my guess is it started with a Muff circuit and added the missing bells 

and whistles. It fits the bill. The layout has volume gain, tone and the important 

mids that a Muff doesn't have. Finally my favorite. It has a BIAS control to 

add a bit of spit and sputter.

CONCLUSION

No complaints it sounds very good. 

It does the whole deal right down 

to heavy lows that with a bit of 

the BIAS you can give it some 

really nasty growling lows.
