Simon was blown away by the pedal made by 'Fishing' so Richard who is also the tech for Simon's band Biffy Clyro thought they could realistically make maybe 20 pedals. On Nov.6 2020 Richard took pre-orders. By the end of the day 200 were sold.
It is a double pedal with a very high gain silicon Fuzz on one side and germanium high gain OD on the other.
CONCLUSION
The pedal is virtually designed to give you the most wild out of control rip your head off but at the same time
have definition on every note. Simon uses a Marshall 1959 HW a basic reissue of the famous Super Lead found on the best of the best late 60' and early 70's records. Nothing was compromised to get the sound. All efforts to make it reliable or for that matter to make quick and easy to repair if or when a part fails. It was never meant to make the smallest compromise that may have maintain the tone but made it at least bit more affordable.
