This is version five of a pedal that was redesigned for Metal players to
replace their Ibanez TS9 to a Screamer that will take them to Never-Land but over the years morphed in to taking it to Never-Ever-Land.😇
Yes it can add some level of gain but it is really the ultimate Metal EQ
that boosts and cuts exactly where you want so your tone need never be compromised or good but never great.
It is typically run into a pushed amp of a Metal genre but I have found what works with a really dirty amp can also be stacked onto other dirt pedals even going into a clean amp and get damn impressive results.
THE LAYOUT
You get Volume, Low that is set to punch but also tighten, Low Mids which is were fat sounds live, High Mids that cut and poke, and High that gives it edge but not any ice pick nasties. Finally Gain that is
set more as a seasoning than a boost of gain.
CONCLUSION __
It is a cross between a Tube Screamer and a serious EQ.
