Nothing earth shattering. Joyo have several series of pedals. This is in their vintage Series. When they started ...it, was it. There were no Series. They found that since all of us like a cheap good clone of a classic than they simply kept making them. They virtually discounted the price over time by NOT raising it. They now add a couple of pedals to it every year.

They did not have a Fuzz Face and it uses very few parts so why not? 

The layout is the obvious Gain, Volume and Tone. 

CONCLUSION_________

Joyo have improved measurably over the years & now they are virtually a Chinese, MXR. They sound very good even if not killer and they are well made and dependable. The sound is very comparable to the real Dunlop F.F. On a very careful listen the Dunlop is bit grittier and open. But note I said "very careful listen". Add to that the Joyo to my ears is better than the MXR variants.  

 

Go to 3:20 on the video and listen for about a minute. All before and after is literally a circus. 

Great if you brought popcorn, but soon you won't know what out of the mess was electronic 

beer farts or the pedal you wanted to judge to buy or not. 

                 ....I ordered one, and have used had mine for a few days. If I could only have one Fuzz to get thru a gig at the moment I would not have to think twice. This is it.  

I think it could go head to head with any Fuzz out there and hold its own.
