Eric Calvert like many of the best builders went from the 'Why doesn't
someone build a' ...to if you want it done right you will have to do it yourself.

Loosely based on the Tall Front Russian Muff but with the addition of some significant and effective mid EQ we get some serious tone that contributes to a massively heavy sounding Fuzz. Building a Fuzz isn't Rocket science but getting the sound right is an art.

CONCLUSION

A huge sound but still tight and with a lot of definition. Impressive.
