But where sound isn't involved he is using all high end parts which makes the pedal both reliable and quiet.

CONCLUSION
The Sola Sound MkI  & later the MkII are considered the best 2 Fuzz boxes ever made. The Klinger
takes the very best and by using a few high end modern parts keeps the original sound but gives it a glassy smoothness that is to die for. No it is not cheap! BUT Hell listen to the thing.
The original company is reproducing the original & as good as it too is ...it's $650.00 USD.
