things with Indy bands was the Mad P. Sweet Honey. 

It is very mellow. Mellow was replaced when 

transparent became the new mellow.  

         CONCLUSION ___ 

It is a 'thing' but not mine. I never liked

mellow as to me it is muddy-o. Even my 

transparent sounds have a bit of attack 

on them not some limp lump. Oddly 

enough even Tone King is now 

10 years old.

Swedish born Bjorn Juhl made his first pedals in the 80's and became by the late 90's perhaps the very first celebrity pedal builder. He invented the Dyna Red with the aim of it being a MIAB before the term was even thought of. Even now it has perhaps the best perfect upper mids and highs out there. He made them by hand one at a time and painted them with a brush. Needless to say they all looked just a bit different. he could not keep up with the demand so he farmed them out to a local builder in Sweden and eventually 2 builders in the US with their own territories to sell in. He eventually ended up with One control making them in Japan. He was not the ideal business man and went bankrupt twice, lol.

This pedal is gone back to his disregard for cost & do it right first pedal. 

It is in the 'In Your Hand Series'

The first pedal was a 3 knob pedal and v.2 is a 4 knob.

The v.2 itself is decades old.

            CONCLUSION __ 

The sound is undeniably good and nails the early v.2 so it 

hits the bullseye. The price is in the ballpark with other

gourmet builders. The 'Cork Sniffers and Collectors' 

will be lined up to get one.

A VCA type comp. Popular in studios. They have a very 

neutral sound if they have a sound at all. The layout is 

Level, Tone, Attack and Sustain.

      CONCLUSION ___ 

They can be made to lay back but they can add some 

punch and tend to sound tad fuller than most Comps. 

A great all rounder can fit any music solution. The 

price is old school Boss reasonable and since they

have been around for decades. Used ones can be

cheap but with years of life still in them

I am not going to repeat Part  1. You can see that on the February, 1925 Post. Just a heads up here. The two modeler techs we have had for years are Capture or Profiling which is a recording medium and Modeling which is component construction building. This is a totally new tech called NAM.

It has virtually no lag like the others but it does not allow for reshaping the signal. In short it is try once and try again if you do not like the 'profile' sound. 

The big deal is the killer detail in the end result. 99% accurate to the 

amp it came from.

It has the potential to be cheap but it was improbable the market 

would not demand easily cost 4 or 5 times as much. 

 

   CONCLUSION ___

To most of us this Ukraine amp and pedal builder has come out of thin air. They have 20 of these Tube Pe-Amps to chose from. They also have several seriously good clone amps ...some 50watts RMS

too and with this same affordability. Yes, at least half price of some of the originals. This is a take on Bognors personal fave, a high gain MIAB. 

The Layout gives you 2 channels of Volume, Treble, Mids, Bass and Gain. Channel 1 has switches to choose more or less Presence,

Bass and a Brite.

      CONCLUSION __

The company has a rep of reliability. 

In short in spite of the price these 

pedals are not thrown together with 

junk parts. This one certainly sounds 

impressive.

From Basil Switzerland come two basement dwelling builders Simone and Thomas and a 3rd Pouchie Lou that could be their dog, lol. They have 9 dirt pedals. Some I expect yeah ...some nay.🙅

The thing is a new independent is worth celebrating. 

I had a very quick listen to the few with a video. It appears this is the winner.

It is a MOSFET high gain OD. They used FET transistors for their tube like sound. The layout is Gain, Volume and Focus which seems to be mid sweep to find the sweet spot that fits your rig and preference. A toggle Heart is a 2 way choice of a low or mid boost. Bite is indeed that. You get a bit of clean 

poke to give you definition.

CONCLUSION __

The pedal can growl while having a pleasing airiness in the upper mids and highs.  The lows have a tearing grit that gives them excellent definition. It is the child of a Bogner Snorklor 

and a HiWatt DR 103-in-a-Box.

It is not so tasty backed off. It... I would say ...wants to Rock. From a these 

new kids on the block we get an impressive pedal. Some pedals breath, 

others smash thru road blocks but this does both at the same time.  

                             ...easily 11 out of 10, ...It is looking like a must have!!!

  CONCLUSION__

It has a couple of great sounds in it. What makes it a 

winner is it is as usable as very good medium gain OD. 

It is punchy, balzy and tight with zero traces of any 

mud and it cuts without competing with a singer.

It looks the part. Just when the makers are finding that there 

is a huge amount of guys that love analog then why not give them the convivence of modelers that have many amps/pedals 

in a box with memory to call up the sounds quickly. The joke is that this came out in 2016 and it has been merely brought back. The layout is basically Level, Gain, Low and High EQ. You get 

8 pre-set voices. 

  CONCLUSION ___ 

The sounds are like them or leave them. 

You do not get a MIAB sound or a Tube 

Screamer or even a Muff clone etc. In 

analog you would need 8 different circuits. 

The pedal would be huge to do it right. 

You get a clean boost, then a low gain thru 

to higher gain sounds and then a Fuzz. 

The unit has a pleasing midish like sound 

but except for going between a couple of

contrasting sounds without a switcher 

it hasn't much to recommend it.

The pedal Mick Ronson put on the map with Bowie with twist. 

Mick had a hot rodded one. This has been given it's own mod 

twist. It uses FETS like you would to make the perfect 

MIAB to push the germanium transistors.

The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain.

       CONCLUSION __ 

The company is famous for giving you value 

for money and a high end look and you are 

not let down this time either. The sound us 

very fat with a gritty velcro grit only found 

in the originals TB's.
