blended into one sound. The layout is Volume, Tone and 

Gain. Gain works only with the Distortion side. Glitch 

works with the Fuzz which messes with the BIAS & 

gives you controllable squelches.

I love it. You can rip

This pedal is more about getting a perfect replica of the original Nobels ODR-1 then hot rodding it. It even has the internal control that tightens 

the bass that can get muddy with some rigs.  The layout has the 

expected Level, Gain, Bass and Spectrum that voices the Mids.

            CONCLUSION __

All the pedals are made by Lawrence Petross in small batches and a new one is usually sold out in the first few hours. A lot 

of players collect them. So what's the big deal? A LPD pedal 

has details in the harmonics and overtones that are startling impressive. All also have touch sensitivity. Your fingers tell 

the pedal how to sound. The pedal never dictates how 

you have to play.

The creator claims this not a clone of any pedal. So as such on 

first listen it's an Amp-in-a-Box with a very dark tone. The layout 

is Volume, Gain, Treble and Bass. A toggle gives you 3 voices 

each with a different gain.

             CONCLUSION __ 

Well the guy in the video dials in his kind of sounds 

without the inconvenience of showing us the range 

of each control nor seeing what lower gains can 

sound like on the 3 voice switch etc. Bottom line is 

I am expecting a second reviewer soon. I will save 

my verdict until then. 

KLONE vs. KLON___ Behringer vs. a real Klon

Behringer are very soon to release their Klon in a Mini pedal format. If it sounds 

the same as the Behringer in this video it should be ideal for anyone. A 99% 

perfect Klon that takes up next to no real estate on one's board.

Heather is a mom who makes pedals when not busy looking after her children etc. They look cool, they sound good and they use NOS very pricy parts. Add to that the 'Cork Sniffers' talk about these pedals 

as if the pic promoting it of the Virgin Mary blessed them.

So what do we get? The unit is a Russian Bubble Font Big Muff. 

It uses Fairfield BC547A silicon transistors with Zenner IN4739 

& IN4148 diodes. The layout Volume, Tone and Gain.

            CONCLUSION __

It has one very good sound. The marketing of 

it will seriously offend Catholics. (note the pic below). 

As a product it seriously offends anyone who 

like me resists getting scammed.

WAH PEDAL- ELECTRO HARMONIX Wailer Wah Pro ___NEW___impressive & cheap too!

Not a lot to describe this Wah. It takes the best of a basic
Dunlop Cry Baby but voices it similar but with a much fatter sound yet keeps angle and height etc. of the casing which 

is simply not improvable. Getting a feel of it should not 

be an issue.

CONCLUSION __

Dunlop has 32 Cry Baby Pedals to choose from $160 to $250. Are some better, surely a bit better. No!!! Not one sounds as fat as this!!! Add to that this sounds like one. In short 

you can have your cake and eat it too. __impressive. 

 

OVERDRIVE- JHS PEDALS Wanderer ___NEW ____Klon & Blues Breaker twinned

The NOTAKLON and MORNING GLORY teamed in one pedal. In short 

a JHS take on Klon with a Blues Breaker as a partner. The layout gives them both Volume, Tone and Gain. A toggle determines the order & another is a gain boost, a third a Klon voice. 

They have separate ins outputs.  A very good idea for those using a switcher to select pedals on your board. 

      CONCLUSION __

Neither pedals are even trying to be authentic to the originals. That is neither good nor bad but a choice. I have both covered with pedals not better or worse but for now I am happy with. 

I prefer ALL my pedals separate as sooner or later one of a 

paired set of pedals often needs an upgrade. 

In short buy your Klon and Bluesbreaker separate ...

According to the builder we get the same 8 year old silicon high 

gain gated Fuzz but in a more board friendly smaller enclosure.

The layout is Master Volume, Gain with Treble, Mids, Bass and 

a Gate. A separate volume blends the Fuzz in with a Distortion voicing that can be added with a toggle. A BIAS on another 

toggle gives to a more gritty velcro like voice and still another toggle has a LPF filter to tighten the lows. 

     C ONCLUSION __

You get a lot to work with. You get some crazy over the 

top sounds but all you need to control them if you need 

a sound tune friendly and not just Sci Fi/Shoegaze. 

Damn good and not overpriced for a package that 

is ALL useable.
