The layout is Volume, Gain and Filter/Tone. A rotary switch

gives you 8 different clipping diodes from LED to Germanium,

Silicon, MOSFET and combinations.
You can turn on an internal switch if you wish to run it at 18v.

From my background it has a religious background that represents an Angels number and it stands for creativity, balance and personal growth. I assumed that with the brand being Black Mass that they were using that in a trite way meaning the devil and all that Black Sabbath B.S. I find it all very childish.
