Borrow the Tone Bender Fuzz topography and add a 

old school OpAmp Hardclipper Distortion and you get a basic Metal pedal to cover a dozen genres. T-Rex have over the years made many pedals all starting with 

the Tube Screamer or a BOSS topography. In short change a few or add a few different clipping diodes 

and you have a whole new pedal, lol. The layout 

is Volume, Tone and Gain and Blend controls for 

both the Fuzz and the OD channels.

      CONCLUSION ___  

It has a pleasant medium to high gain sound that can do anything from Hardrock & many genres & 

sub genres of Metal. Yes it does many things well 

but like all versatile pedals it never pleases those 

that want one sound perfect. I think it like many 

of their pedals is destined for the Indy Alt players.
