Not much to describe. You have volume, mids and gain and a toggle that kicks in a boost. Like many low priced extreme high gain pedals there isn't the budget for anything but passive EQ so they are at best a one trick pony. On lower gain pedals modest EQ can be very effective.The pedal has enough level to push your amp so using it as booster should be effective. Stacking it on another drive could be very effective.

CONCLUSION

These pedals are made by Caline. They are well made and very robust. Even the 9v input jack plate is mounted on the pedal not straight to the circuit board like Friedman and JHS other respected brands do.

The boost is very effective in giving the pedal the overall tone a more pro sound. 

I would not hesitate to get one as a boost. It could be used to give a sweet sounding 

OD a big punch and bark in the lows when stacked.
