AMPLIFIER- VICTORY V4 The Sherriff ... classic old school takes on digital alternatives.

VICTORY V4 THE SHERIFF v.2

Victory started out making lunchbox clones of the famous basic amps. They cover Marshall, Vox, Fender, a gourmet Metal and a one that is a kind of 'Best Of'. It is all about getting the 'Real Deal' classic tube amps into a portable package.
They branched out into compact but traditional wood covered vinyl versions. They then offer just the pedalboard preamp including the 4 real preamp tubes.

$1000.00 USD
Finally they came up with the preamp style & look but put in a class D amp.
The newest versions have up the power to a pro level to give you 90 watts into an 8 ohm cab. About 95% of cabs are indeed 8 ohms. They have simulated the tube power amp sound by creating a circuit that acts just like tube driven transformer so the experience or feel of playing it and listening to it is the same. They licenced 'Two notes Audio Engineering' tech so you can send out a serious pro signal to the mains.
Even for a trad guy all you need is this amp and a single !2' cab. Probably a small pedal board or digital multi pedal board.
In a small club you are totally covered. In a big hall with a sound system the tech just plugs a mic cord into the Two note and everyone's happy. CONCLUSION
It is without a doubt a reasonable compromise solution. If all you do are small clubs you still have the real tube amp experience and  its loud enough to keep up with a real drummer. This means that on stage only the vocal needs a mic.
It can be a fly rig with just a small board and a guitar. In a city getting a your gig even with a cab by Taxi is an option. Finally for a serious tube contender that demands quality it is priced reasonably.
