player's dream pedal.
The first Zendrive was made by Hermia Audio. So who makes it better is the usual contentious issue.
I have put a comparison video ...as your introduction to the pedal's sound. You decide.
Why buy a Zendrive???
Yes you get one of these and the respect for your taste in music goes thru the roof.
Well it does as long as you keep those Metal recording you have well hidden. LOL
I have always been so peeved with the pretense about how cool this pedal is I never reviewed it. LOL
But here it is ...both of them?
It does have a certain etheral vibe to the sound running thru it ...
...that the copies DO NOT! I think?
Lawrence Petross makes the LPD Sixty 8. It is meant to be a Plexi that has just the right beef added too it. BUT... it has that same etheral quality running through it. Best of all there are some lows and highs. Better still it has zero pretense.
If you love the etheral idea but hate the tameness of even this pedal ...he has a prototype pedal called the D.C.M.D. Don't call me dirty.
It has a bit of serious masculine muscle but the damn thing has that etheral thing in spades!!!
It is one of my fav pedals. A killer!!!
The guy can not help himself. It may not ever get made??? But go on Reverb and scoop one while you still can. I believe he made a few and there are a couple left. Trust me once you have it no one will ever get that damn smug look off your face.
