Some things are not mentioned that are important. George Beuchamp, Bigsby and Fender worked walking distance apart so they hung out a lot.
They all loved to brag a little, but also borrow a little. Bigsby had the first solid body but he made them one by one with orders. He also designed
the 6 a side headstock that looks very, very much like the Fender big Strat headstock.

Bigsby had enough orders of his guitars and whammy's to have a biz but he only enjoyed inventing and custom guitars so he simply chose a
lifestyle that paid the bills but was hassle free. Mostly just filling whammy orders that were from word of mouth not marketing.
This guy is the worst
