It is a Hi-Watt amp with a Colorsound Power Boost. The Hi-Watt has been a staple for Gilmour and he used the Colorsound on Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were here and Animal.
The layout on the boost side is Master, Volume, Treble and Bass. a toggle for a choice of voicing. The Hi-Watt side is Master, Presence, Bass, Mids and Bass. A switch triggers more gain. A second switch simulates the differed inputs on the amp. Either Dark or Bright or both.
CONCLUSION ___
For a start the Hi-Watt side sounds damn good and is worthy as a pedal on its own. The boost is excellent
but this not just some marketing gimmick pedal.
Skip the Gilmour thing and just think of it as
one of the very, very few Hi-Watt-in-a Box
pedals. A damn good one too.
