ALL GUITARS WITH ROSEWOOD FRETBOARDS
WILL BE CONFISCATED AT THE BORDERS !!!!
....unless you come with the correct paperwork.
The border guys have a very limited knowlege
If you can prove it was bought before 2017...OK.
Gibson uses Honduras so if you have a Gibson it is on their list and no amount of blah will get your guitar back on the spot.
KEEP IN mind not to go on REVERB or ebay etc. and buy or sell a guitar across borders!
IF you have a legit guitar and they take it ....you can get it back. BUT I EXPECT IT WILL TAKE HOURS OF YOUR TIME AND MONTHS OF WAITING!!!!
If you are buying that new Fender...you might well consider going with the all maple neck.
At NAMM...many guitar makers are switching to ebony.
Other makers are expected to NOT SHIP THE GUITARS WITH THEM OUT OF THE US.
Soon only a US player will be able to get a Fender or a Gibson with an Rosewood fretboard.
THIS IS SERIOUS SH@T!!!!
ROSEWOOD IS NOW ON THE SAME LIST AS AS REAL IVORY!!!!
