Best know as a session guitarist in the 50's Country music scene and an early pioneer of the early Blues & Country blend better known as Rock-a-billy. His choice of using a Mosrite guitar helped get this small brand to survive.He was one of the first to move into Television to present Country music with his own Show to a wider audience. I stumbled onto this video of a young Larry Collins in this old cut from that show. It is corny, cheesy and sentimental and sooo... bad it is brilliant 😎
