The company is simply Dan Albrecht somewhere in Australia with a couple
of Wah pedals and this booster. 

The booster is came out 5 years ago. It is meant to compliment a tube amp. It does add dirt but has a transparent quality is so much as this pedal melts into the amps sound and simply seems part of it. Something 

I have only heard a few tube pre's do.

The layout is volume with a 6 position voicing selector and a choice of low gain NOS silicon or germanium transistors.The secret sauce seems to me his Inductor based resonant filter circuit. To my ear it gives the vibe of the below 9 O'clock 'real' Klons booster circuit.

CONCLUSION

What's not to like. The tone is incredibly rich and totally organic.

Yes you pay a lot if you want exquisite subtly.
