Yes the name of the Teisco Fuzz is just 'Fuzz' LOL. Teisco were big
in the late '60's when they made cheap and cheerful entry level guitars in that first wave of made in Japan that crushed Kay, Harmony and Dano and put them into bankruptcy.
They also brought out a few pedals which were likely relabeled
Shin-Ei boxes. Shin-Ei are better known for the also relabeled Vox Super Fuzz.
This is a modern interpretation it is not even close and sounds tacky ...but great anyway. If you want the real deal check out the Ananashead Super Fuzz at $90.00 USD it is a steal!!
This Fuzz is as raw as it gets. The sound though using silicon transistors reminds me of the Maestro Fuzz Tone used on the Stone's Satisfaction tune. It is a case of it being soooo bad it's good!!!
