It is of course a fine balancing act to add improvements that enhance the pedal but not destroy the magic.
I find Ananashead have indeed kept a balance on the tight rope to success.
The added pot to increase the mids and the heavier tight low end makes this Sovtek pedal fatter and more versatile!
