It is all about a lower to medium gain distortion with great dynamics. It acts like a tube amp cleaning up if you pull back on your guitar volume control. It also reacts to your attack. Hit your strings hard or softer and it responds to your touch.The layout is Volume, Gain & Tone with a toggle that boosts the mids.CONCLUSION ___The pedal has a very broad mid range sound boosting mids evenly from low mids to highs. The highs are there but just. You can not get cut and bite or serious lows.
It is not a criticism as the harmonics and overtones are very clear and defined. It really does its own thing but incredibly well and for an excellent price.
The appearance of the pedal is totally upmarket.
If you are a fan of Mythos Pedals very organic sounding
efforts. It is much like something they would make
but as much as $200 cheaper.
