It all started with guitarist Mickey Demiss of Skindred
always wanting a pedal that could get his sound without relying on
various amps, pedals and even studio EQ to get it!
It took the approach of designing a good amp in a box
type pedal but using a Fuzz circuit for the voicing.
Handmade in Britain without compromise on anything from
the parts to the casing.
CONCLUSION
It definitely responds and sounds very much like an OD
but it has the rough and ready course sound of a Fuzz
it even has a killer sustain that many classic Fuzz pedals have.
It becomes a love it or forget it.
If you are a King of Tone, Tube Screamer transparent sound guy
or a Marshall in a box guy then you may not like it.
Even a die hard Fuzz guy may find it too OD sounding.
But like it or not it is damn well done!!!
