Frantone is the genius of Fran Blanch perhaps the first women to make gourmet pedals as she has been doing it 20 years. 
She lost her business because she got hit in the 9/11 disaster. For a few years she was head designer for Electro Harmonix and created the Big Muff NY pedal that put EH back on the map after they started over in the US after being bankrupt and out of biz for years.

She then quit EH and  reopened Frantone.
She does not and never will make clones or start a new pedal design from starting from a vintage pedal.
Not only are the pedals killer. She has always been a player so reliability means overkill. She even dropped 
a pedal out of a plane and it still works!
She always has kept a low profile because as a women
what you wear and how you look becomes more important
then how good your product is.

Bottom line!!! Frantone pedals are equal to or better then 99% of what's out there. I truly believe the Cream Puff is the BEST Fuzz I have ever heard! Huge Low end & endless sustain!

It features fluff, tone and volume. LOL
OK then  ...gain, tone and volume.
It has the lowest lows and the longest sustain you
ever heard! How long ???

Oh what I would give to see your face when you listen to the video!!! LOL

I think it could be a great tool to stack with other Fuzz
pedals or maybe a great OD and so when the OD fades away the Fuzz comes to the rescue and keeps the sustain thing going and going.
On the other hand f. that just use it on it's own!

Conclusion
Whoa!!! Made in America with the best parts too!!! Totally Scary!!!
It is really quite impressive. I am hoping Frantone soon makes a Metal pedal.
In the meantime stack this on your current Metal pedal and take it to another planet!
