This time they focused on the Burns/Baldwin Buzzaround Fuzz the prefered Fuzz of Robert Fripp of King Crimson. The band put both the beginnings of Heavy Metal and rock music virtuosity on the map.

They were the first. At the time the most sophistic music in rock was Hendrix and Zep.
Crimson had no mentors ...no heroes to learn their craft ...only their own imagination to make this totally new  music.

THIS WAS IN 1969.. they invented Metal and virtuosity within Rock.  This was years and years before we again heard this level of creativity and musicianship.
Bands like Yes and Genesis came to their concerts.
