OVERDRIVE- MUSICLILY English Man Distortion ... voiced to impress and cheap!

MUSICLILY| ENGLISH MAN DISTORTION
There is no such Pedal maker as Musiclily.
$35.00 USD
The company scours manufacturers big and small mostly from China but
from other Asian countries and does it's homework finding mostly guitar hardware and electronics of a good B grade quality. There are 3 basic grades of hardware. There is a 'A' grade made of new metal alloys. A 'B' grade with some recycled metal and a 'C' grade of all recycled junk metal. They look the same especially once they are plated. Grade 'C' is very porous and can be like an inconsistently textured metal sponge. Grade 'B' is less pours and with a consistent density and can was found on some bridges to have an even amount of sustain and warmth. Another aspect is fit and finish. It may look like a great Strat bridge with decent materials but will it fit in your guitar. Is it metric or SAE? Is it a standard size at all?
A tiny budget set of usable tuners they may sell for  $20.00 USD which seems fair. You are however paying for a service because from a small dealer they may be less than $10.00 USD. Unfortunately another dealer
has one that looks the same for $15.00 USD but are 'C' grade.
Yes I digress but it is handy to know about the company that is all about budget friendly usable products.
The pedal is made by Pigtone in China. A very small company that has their pedals designed in Italy.
The layout is level, gain presence and tone. The pedal is a take on a MIAB.
CONCLUSION
On the up side the pedal is robust, with a good fat Plexi like tone. It lacks harmonic detail but no more than the still popular $220.00 USD ZVEX Box-of-Rock.

the fine print
It is not a bad pedal but it is borderline Pro.
If I wanted a cheap in your face Brit sound I
would get the Caline High Peak Distortion
It is more of an Orange-in-a-Box but it has
one foot firmly on the Pro ladder
