AMT ELECTRONICS M-drive
I have several Marshall-in-a-Box pedals
with very detailed and richer tone but this
with very detailed and richer tone but this
one is just has so much adolescent
attitude I just have to love it. It is a take
on a beefed up JCM 800.
The layout has the usual gain, level and tone,
with a switch on the side for a mid scoop.
These little steel boxes are nano tanks!
CONCLUSION
Small enough to tuck onto any board.
and at the price what's not to like?
M-Drive or S-Drive?
ReplyDeleteI have many Marshall-in-a-Box pedals so that makes me prefer the S-Drive.It also gets down to what music you play. Most guys tend to be focused in one basic genre.I have written tunes that started with the idea of being anywhere from the pre-metal bands like the Yardbirds mid 60's things right up to the present.I find every sound from the first Marshall JTM amp sounds right up to Modern Metal pedals work for me and I have probably at least 2 dirt pedals to fit every decade. At the moment there are small scenes the world over for every genre. It is like renaissance. The 10 top downloaded Metal recordings from just last month had bands that covered several genres and even these bands blended in outside elements. One band had some Doom elements but the woman singing had a Joni Mitchel vibe going. one nice thing about the AMT stuff is it sounds Pro but it is even cheaper than most Boss pedals and not a lot more than the best Chinese ones. Add to that they are good enough to use right along side of a high end pedal you have or get later.
