BOSS TONEBENDER vs. MACARI'S TONEBENDER

Boss took a team to the UK and to the Macari's store where the Solasound Tonebender was invented and for a very long time made one at a time. The present Mr. Macari pulled out the best of the best of the original Tonebender Mk.II's 
for them to clone.

In March the Boss Waza Craft TB 2W was released Fuzz ltd. Ed. was released.

So lets see how it turned out?

    The most over priced nonsense Boss has released. Parts wear and deteriorate over time. That is why no 2 FF or Tone benders sound the same. This is Boss taking full advantage of the limited addition band wagon. The idea of these unicorn transistors still amaze me. 90% of today's consumers have never played a real tone bender and would not know the difference.

    I must agree in so far as it is just a 'me too' Fuzz. There are better takes on old Fuzz pedals that may too
    not be overly authentic sounding but are still a good Fuzz for the money. The Big Knob Colour Jumbo is a take on the Colorsound Jumbo Tonebender. It is much closer to the original then Boss has done and it is only $100
