The company has a long history going back to 2003 and was founded by
Devi Ever a.k.a. Grace Lynn a transgender person with a genius for a better fuzz. Not to mention the bass player for Louisiana's Wonder Kid.
Many of the biggest supporters over the years have been Indie players looking for old school sounds with a new twist.
The pedals tend to be very edgy Fuzz boxes but as playable as an OD. Some may border on Fuzz cacophony but they pull back on the reigns. They are not designed just for those that gravitate to pedals that are primarily for creating ambient and tone poem music.
In short if you play a tune using a Big Muff a Devi Ever may well be both a practical and an artististic alternative.
CONCLUSION
The Goddess Zero has been popular for years yet is only recently Devi Ever has set up a shop with staff to meet the demand. No more waiting between gigs to get a pedal made.
