I have reviewed OD's from this company before. They are a small German company that have been in business for over 30 years.  

The product is handmade with stereotypical German quality. They have always in the past had a very low profile and sold through 

bricks and mortar dealers and without any marketing totally

under the radar. 

Needless to say they were hard to get or find and this made them slow sellers so stores seldom kept any serious inventory. 

The pedal is as the company admits starts with a classic Plexi but today we want more gain and more everything so they give us what we want so they hesitate to call it it a Plexi with so any mods to the original sound.

The layout is Bass, Mids, Treble, Gain and level. A switch gives you added gain and another a nice Fat mids boost. 

CONCLUSION ___

The sound is harmonically rich and goes for a glassy tight and very punchy sound. the string separation is excellent and the pick attack is percussive. All very much more like modern high priced gourmet amp. I find I need all this on some tunes bit I also love the a classic sound as much. too me it is not a one os better. More like choosing an apple, green one day red the next.
